Education
I graduated from cum laude (3.6) from Rowan University in May of 2014 with a BA in Communication Studies with a concentration in Gender Studies. I also had a lot of coursework in Sociology-just one credit shy of a sociology minor! Some courses I have taken include Sociological Theory, Human Sexuality, the Psychology of Women, College Composition, Public Speaking, Health Communication, Women and Gender in Perspective, Adolescent Literature, as well as Health and Wellness courses.
Experience
I currently work in an elementary school working in an ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) classroom with children with autism in 3rd-5th grade. I work 1 on 1 with the children so I'm used to working directly with students. I also plan to go back to school shortly to get my teaching degree for secondary education with a specialization in English.

Hobbies
My number one interest is my rescue dog, Kevin. He's a 1 year old Chihuahua terrier mix from Kentucky! I also love working with kids! I previously worked in a day care facility as a teacher's assistant with 2-3 year olds which is where I discovered my passion for education. In my spare time I enjoy lifting weights, hiking, baking, and reading!
